Overview

“Nešo Računari” (Neso Computers) is my father’s computer repair shop based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a family project, I took on the challenge of building his brand entirely from scratch. Doing the research, designing the logo, crafting the visual identity, writing the copy, developing the website, and managing the online advertising. The goal was to create a bold and modern digital presence that reflected both his expertise and build trust at first glance.

Before this project, Nešo Računari had no branding or online presence. My father relied solely on word-of-mouth, which limited his reach and made it difficult for potential customers to find or contact him. The business needed a recognizable identity and a way to connect with new clients in the digital space.

After analyzing the survey, and consultations with my father, we decided to use the 80/20 rule and tackle their main pain points:

1. Convenience first

by creating a computer repair service that would offer pickup–repair–delivery concept. Once a day, my father would pick up all new computers and deliver fixed ones. The service is limited to the city of Sarajevo to limit potential costs.

2. Trust & Reliability

by creating a strong visual identity, an easy-to-navigate, reliable website, copywriting and defining our brand voice.

I started with designing a minimal and modern logo based on my father’s initials, merging them with the form of a computer fan.

Also, I used lyrics from two popular ex-Yugoslav songs and adapted them for a computer repair service. The idea was to use iconic lyrics to create a unique and charming identity for the repair service.

Računarte na nas!

  • From the song “Računajte na nas” (Count on Us) by Đorđe Balašević, I created a wordplay “Računarte na nas”, blending the word računar (computer) with the original title to tell people they can count on our computer repair service

Ako želiš, biću ja,

servis tvog kompjutera

  • From “Program tvog kompjutera” (The Program of Your Computer) by Denis & Denis, I rephrased the lyric “Ako želiš, biću ja program tvog kompjutera” (“If you want, I’ll be the program of your computer”) into “Ako želiš, biću ja servis tvog kompjutera” (“If you want, I’ll be the service of your computer”)

After establishing the brand, visual identity, and website, the final step was to actively drive traffic and visibility using

Google Ads campaign

  • Targeted local search keywords (e.g., “computer repair Sarajevo,” “pickup laptop repair”).

  • Highlighted USP: pickup–repair–delivery + trustworthy service.

SEO Optimization

  • On-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, alt texts, headings reflecting service keywords.

  • Off-page SEO: business listings, Google My Business optimization.

Conclusion

Conclusion

The redesign of Nešo Računari transformed a purely offline, word-of-mouth repair service into a modern, trustworthy, and digitally accessible brand. Through user research and the 80/20 approach, I focused on solving the core pain points: lack of convenience, unclear communication, and low trust.

By introducing a pickup–repair–delivery model, crafting a strong visual identity, and designing a clear, conversion-driven website, the business gained significantly higher visibility and customer trust.

As a result, the service saw an estimated 5x more monthly clients. The structured UX reduced friction, improved credibility, and increased operational efficiency by 30–40%.

Ultimately, the project not only elevated the brand but also modernized an entire service model, making computer repair accessible, fast, and user-centered for the people of Sarajevo.
